    Public Health SFPH previously known as the Office for Public Health in Scotland and utilises the resources previously allocated to the SFPH scholarship under the same name the Elizabeth Russell Scholarship The total resource of the SFPH will be allocated to the Faculty of Public Health and held within its endowment fund to be invested in their endowment portfolio The interest will be used to pay for the annual prize If at a later date the Committee of the Faculty of Public Health in Scotland wish to re instate a group to take forward collaborative inter disciplinary public health working they can use the capital and interest from this resource to do so by in fact resurrecting the Scottish Forum for Public Health in that or another name reflective of the work The Forum consisted of representatives from the multi disciplinary Public Health workforce The main tasks of the Forum were To provide an independent vehicle to identify discuss and present a unified multiprofessional perspective on issues relevant to public health in Scotland To share knowledge of documents issues priorities and research ideas from the different strands of public health represented on the Forum Papers from meetings and events can
