    Programs Child Nutrition Program Digital Learning DMAC EcoLand Early Learning Center G T Student Seminars House Bill 5 Resources Leadership Development NEW Online Forms Out of School Youth Services Project Share Region 7 Online Store Senate Bill 149 School Board of the Year Superintendent of the Year Teacher of the Year Truancy Requirements WebShops for Notebooking Parent Resources House Bill 5 Resources Out of School Youth Services Parent Involvement Federal Programs Parent Resources Special Education Statewide Bullying Prevention Initiative Bullying Prevention Bullying Prevention Resources Workshops for Parents MIS Website Workshops for Students MIS Website Employment Programs Services Workshops Certification Programs Principal Counselor Superintendent Region 7 Education Service Center is providing a certification program online in partnership with Region 4 Education Service Center The online certification programs are approved by the Texas Education Agency TEA For additional information about the Online Alternative Principal Certification Programs at Region 4 or to apply online Principal Certification Program This alternative certification program designed for teachers who meet certain minimum criteria to obtain principal certification through plans approved by the state of Texas and is considered an alternative route because it accomplishes certification outside the traditional university program setting The program consists of 200 clock hours in a 12 month online curriculum along with 160 hours of campus level practicum experiences All courses are instructor led and the practicum is conducted under the supervision of a campus mentor and an assigned field supervisor Instructional Leadership Development ILD certification is included as a part of the program Coursework and the internship can be conducted anywhere in the state of Texas After all program requirements are complete including all coursework payment of fees practicum hours and passing of the TExES Principal exam the intern will be recommended to the state for a standard principal certification Program rules and requirements are subject to change at any time due to SBEC requirements Read about the Principal s Certification at the Region 4 website Counselor Certification Program Region 7 Education Service Center is providing a Counselor Certification program online in partnership with Region 4 Education Service Center which has been designed to provide participants with a challenging and relevant certification program The course is provided entirely online program and offers flexibility as you complete certification coursework on your time at your place The program is fully supportive and instructor led The Counselor Certification Program puts a strong emphasis on preparing you for the TExES exam With a high success rate our exam support readily prepares you for test day Read more about Counselor s Certification at the Region 4 Website Superintendent Certification Program Region 7 Education Service Center is providing an online superintendent certification program in partnership with Region 4 Education Service Center The Region 7 superintendent certification program is approved by the Texas Education Agency TEA Program rules and requirements are subject to change at any time due to TEA requirements This program is an alternative certification program designed for school leaders who hold a principal or mid management
