    Team Become a Teacher Certification Programs Child Nutrition Program Digital Learning DMAC EcoLand Early Learning Center G T Student Seminars House Bill 5 Resources Leadership Development NEW Online Forms Out of School Youth Services Project Share Region 7 Online Store Senate Bill 149 School Board of the Year Superintendent of the Year Teacher of the Year Truancy Requirements WebShops for Notebooking Parent Resources House Bill 5 Resources Out of School Youth Services Parent Involvement Federal Programs Parent Resources Special Education Statewide Bullying Prevention Initiative Bullying Prevention Bullying Prevention Resources Workshops for Parents MIS Website Workshops for Students MIS Website Employment Programs Services Workshops Region 7 ESC 2017 Teacher of the Year Program The Region 7 ESC Teacher of the Year program is affiliated with the Texas Association of School Administrators TASA Texas State Teacher of the Year Program which honors 40 Regional Teachers of the Year among which are two State Teachers of the Year one elementary and one secondary and four state finalists These regional teachers represent each of the 20 Education Service Center regions in Texas Every year the Region 7 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year applications are submitted to TASA for participation in the statewide program District superintendents and charter school chief administrators are invited to print and review the 2017 Region 7 TOY Program application linked below For questions or additional information pertaining to the Region 7 TOY program please contact Adriana Moon Region 7 Communications Coordinator and TOY program coordinator at amoon esc7 net or at 903 988 6748 Region 7 ESC TOY Program Application Submission Guidelines Submission Deadline June 8 2016 by 3 pm Submit via email to communications esc7 net All of the following requirements must be met in order for a nominee s application to be accepted for the regional program All candidates who are named as a Region 7 district or charter school Elementary or Secondary Teacher of the Year automatically advance to the Region 7 ESC competition as long as their completed official regional application is submitted by the June 8 2016 3 p m deadline District and charter school winners whose applications are not submitted by the deadline will not be considered for the selection process The district superintendent or the charter school director must e mail their regional nominees applications to the Region 7 ESC TOY program coordinator at communications esc7 net Applications must be submitted electronically by the superintendent charter director s office Please contact Adriana Moon at 903 988 6748 if you have questions or concerns A photo of the nominee must be e mailed WITH the application To ensure quality printing purposes for a 5x7 photo the image must be a minimum of 1500 x 2100 pixels Section I of the application must be complete with signatures from the superintendent principal and nominee This document must be scanned and e mailed with the rest of the application Applications without a complete cover sheet will NOT be accepted Answers must be limited to the
