  • Valentine Cookie Cutter Décor Craft Tutorial | Art Of Crafts
to play with called Moosgummi here in Austria Moosgummi is just a fancy word for foam sheets which are available at craft stores in a rainbow of colors Materials Foam sheets red pink Heart shaped cookie cutters Hole puncher Scissors String 1 Press the heart shaped cookie cutters firmly into each foam sheet The harder you press the better you almost want the cookie cutter to go through the material as if it s dough 2 With a pair of scissors carefully cut around the outline of each heart 3 Add holes to the hearts with a hole puncher Two punches at the top work great for a garland and a punch on the top and bottom work great for a dangling heart string 4 Tie and knot string around the smallest heart you have made Thread hearts through one by one as shown The lightness of the foam will allow the hearts to hang nicely 5 Display your heart strings with some red tissue pom poms for a bold and sweet effect 6 Other decorating ideas are to add stickers or glitter to the foam hearts You can also make a miniature garland as I have above for my Valentine Tea Party setting Happy Valentine s Day Ashley Lucas aka Lady Lucas is a craft designer and illustrator specializing in adorable characters Visit her Etsy Shop for printable coloring books and pages and don t forget to join the Lady Lucas Club so you don t miss out on free downloads and ideas sent out every four weeks Lady Lucas on social media LadyLucasArt Sign Up For My Free Newsletter As a thank you I will send you my two ebooks The Big Book of Craft Interviews Vol 1 2 and you will get access to my weekly newsletter
